Alyssa, I've been slightly obsessed with the knowledge you shared in this video. I've dabbled in astrology mostly for fun but learning about the midheaven from this video and your older ones has been PROFOUND. I've been thinking about how we've spent more than a year interacting with people mostly online and not in person, even attempting to build communities for social justice and how much internal conflict we've gotten into. Is it perhaps because we are only accepting of each other's midheavens in this format when we've tried to be true to ourselves? I'm really excited for this series!!

This makes a lot of sense. I'm an Aries rising, Libra Sun, and Taurus conjunct North Node. That makes my midheaven in Capricorn. Whenever I'm dressed business casual even to run an errand at target I'm ALWAYS treated WAY better vs a loose fitted knit and jeans. Folks always think I'm the manager, supervisor, team leader, public presenter, etc and approach me as such then become visibly upset with me, as if I lied to them. However, I've done nothing except exist in the space. Also, this was really difficult for me to accept, a blow to my ego. My Libra sun believes in justice and treating everyone fairly and equally. I used to approach every person as a friend, my life was an open book and my home welcomed everybody. I carry myself with grace and soon enough those with rough natures can be soften. NO. When I lived like that, I attracted the worse people. Loud, RUDE, thrived on chaos, USERS, etc. Truly, not to sound like a snob, but back in those days associating with folks like that cost me opportunities. Now, I have to be VERY discerning about who I associate with, like even in PUBLIC because I've learned its about reputation. It SUCKS. Neptune is at 0 Capricorn so the tendency for (nasty) rumors already exists. I am SO looking forward to this series.

Why aren’t there more views??? I am so for this! My rising is Sagittarius, but my Midheaven is Virgo (couldn’t be more different). When I started connecting more with my rising, and displaying more of those qualities, I lost so much respect. But being like my midheaven made me feel like an imposter. I’ve messaged you on Instagram explaining this…and now it all make sense. I don’t quite know how to go about going back to that midheaven way of Virgo, but I definitely notice better receptivity when I behave like that…or often, the more insecure one’s challenge me (they only new me when I was showing more of my Sagittarius rising…so they most likely thought I was fake). It’s been a frustrating 15 years, to say the least. Thank you for making this. I hope this increases in popularity and you get the notoriety you deserve,

And I did notice that my reputation is basically... in shambles a lot of the time lol, because people tell me all the time that they had a wrong idea of who I was before actually getting to know me.

Oh wow.. Sorry you have to go through that.. I have Scorpio in my 10th house. I also went through that allot. People perceived me to be a certain way when I'm not or get the wrong idea of me until they've been around me for some time. It may also have a lot to do with Pisces sitting in my first house. But the more I study my chart, rising and my midheaven, the more I'm learning about myself and how others perceive me. Also, if you look at which house Pluto (your Scorpio ruler) is placed in and how it's aspected, this can help you understand your Scorpio midheaven energy better :)

I found your channel in 2016 and it was my first introduction to real astrology, it started my whole journey into spirituality, occultism etc. When I first found you I binged your entire channel in like couple weeks, and when you quit and came back I stayed watching because you opened this door for me and I couldn't just not continue to support you, to drink up your every word. Alyssa! I hope you see this... When I had my spiritual awakening (June 2021) and I became obsessed with tarot and watching soooooooooo many collective readings on KZbin... Whatever, whatever... I found a an amazing reader who studies the North Node. For me, my NN/SN are also my Asc /DC. So naturally, I immersed myself in all things north node, knowing NOTHING about Midheaven anything... But my fortuna is the same as my MC, so I mixed up the two... Anyway, is the axis! THE AXIS is what's important. You're right the Midheaven is very important. There's something about the 4 energies on the axis. I ALSO BELIEVE the MC is important.

I can’t wait for the new series! I have a Virgo MC, and I connect with this energy a lot because I’ve invested a lot of time in trying to understand it through the lens of my 9th house Virgo rahu, but I haven’t been able to understand how to work with this energy in the context of my MC. It’s strange because I can completely understand how I’m perceived in general by others - I’m pretty sure most people would describe my as quintessentially Virgo - but every other aspect of my identity (most of my placements are in the bottom half of my chart aside from rahu and chiron) disconnects the “me”that I most closely experience from that image. It will be extremely helpful to get your perspective on how I can work with that energy in my “role”/10th house. I’m also so happy that you’re on a path where you will hopefully feel more fulfilled with your youtube career. I’m sure it can be a horrible burden if you don’t feel fully in control of it and true to yourself, but it seems like you’re stronger than ever! I think you've really found something here and it'll help alot of people I've just looked at your Instagram and I'm like damn it really does make a difference? But there's no way of me knowing the Taurus/piscean energy felt more authentic to you, cause from my outsider's perspective the Sagittarian look works better. I've always found you as a character incredibly hard to pinpoint, like I don't feel the Libra or pisces energy from you. But when you step into the sag mc it just clicks. It's very interesting but also frustrating when your public perception and your personal truth aren't always reflected back to eachother, but navigating by understanding the two is the way out of it

This resonated so much with me. This is my first time commenting on a video so bare with me-but I felt you shared so much, I want to share how you’ve impacted me. I love how you gave so much to think on and discover on our own before you come out with the individual videos; it is very helpful to hear your perspective with branding yourself through the rising. For the past week I have been thinking of how to integrate my mid heaven in a new visual art project I have coming up. But I have been sooo in my rising feels that sometimes it becomes the focus and with my rising Leo and a Taurus mid heaven I felt a similar dichotomy in reverse with the fire and earth(Venus). You really gave me a break through with seeing something I’d been feeling; that the mid-heaven is a great work ‘persona’ energy or brand as you put it. I first had the thought when the artist I’m working with now thought I was a Taurus when we first met right at the last full moon; which I connected to my Taurus mid heaven and thought it might serve me well to take on this Taurus energy in my work especially in this project. Then comes you with perfect timing and articulation of your story to really solidify the ideas in my mind. I have watched a ton of your videos and have been a long time subscriber. This is only one ‘testimony’ if you will of how your work has truly impacted me in real life and my knowledge of how to utilize astrology. Much love to you! Thank you for really showing up! This is really cool. I just realized i am a sag midheaven (and aquarius rising). Never gave it much thought. I want to put myself out there and start a business, but am terrified to and haven't figured out what feels right and in what way I would be best received (intuitively I know I should hold some of me back). I cannot wait for this series!!! I feel some amazing golden nuggets are going to come forth, as they already have from this video!
