Nah buddy got chops, but was definitely a lil too "live" for some of the placements. Sometimes less is more and helps to let's the shine stand out when you do shine. Definitely got the chops though.

He can play for sure, but I'm sorry as a pocket drummer this is not it! This is what you do when you shed. As another comment said maybe the music director told him to play like this. well, that director should be fired!! Don't get me wrong I love chops but there should be a balance and proper placement with chops. Watch J-Rod he is a master of this.

Yeah man he definitely did a lot! Placement is very important. He had a lot of unnecessary chops, that didn't fit the songs at all. There is nothing wrong with chops but all music doesn't require all of that. So I'm in total agreeance with you.
