@IPSECMERLIN Merlin Whats more important is the rent and how many people there are in your area that can be potential customers. My advice would be to find a place that can host at least classes for a minimum of 16 people activly training. and still have space for storage,gear and cleaning suplies. Second start small! a huge place is not going to fill itself with members overnight but it is going to drain your bank account without mercy. Go larger when you can not when you want! And lastly do not open a club now during the pandemic, people are hesitant to try anything social and are afraid of losing their jobs so they will not sign a membership form. I highly advice you to start with outdoor recriation classes so you do not pay rent but you can start building members. Good luck.

I believe it always starts with marketing of course and you have to love the sport. Believe in your talent. Love to help others!

So much money lost following my boxing passion. My gym is always draining my bank account.

Where would you say most of the debt comes from ? Are you paying off equipment? Are members not coming in ?
@itguru20372 жыл бұрын
@@orlandoflores2155 members are flaky. Like any fitness business they come for awhile then quit. Not enough consistency to keep the lights on. If you own a boxing gym do it for the passion not expecting to make money.

@@itguru2037 I haven’t been able to get far in my boxing career (life, starting the sport late ) but my biggest fear is failing in the trainer side of it as well . I got the passion for it but we all got bills . I feel you brother , I pray your gym turns around and the right opportunity’s come for you . Don’t give up . If your mot on social media like everyday already , start doing it . It’s the only way to market affordably , send personal messages/ invitations to soccer moms , kids that look active . You never know who may come in .
