Man I remember the first time I started REAL training, my coach had me puking the first 2 days on those white belt runs lol. He said I don't train weaklings to my boss and I said I'm gonna be there everyday now that you said that. 2 years later we have expanded so much, he actually owns a full on gym instead of training out of his garage. I now train BJJ as well as kickboxing because he opened doors for me I couldn't imagine. At first all I wanted to do was know how to defend myself better in a fight, and now it's so much more for me then that... it's a way of life, a philosophy, a door that opened so many more real friends and family. Loyalty. It's nothing I could have ever imagined... I never thought i'd find a true passion like this. Let me know you something though it doesn't come easy.... I work all day as a house framer come home go to my classes and come back with literally an hour left before I have to go to bed. Passion doesn't come without sacrifice or pain, you gotta know you want it and let that passion burn through any negativity you got going on in that brain.

😬 idk about the most dedication if you wana be real look at the atmosphere and energy you see you have to be a brawler and just constant intense energy to box. and you dont really have to be great and do well. it is very tough and rigorous but respectfully not the most dedication. A martial art like Taekwondo feels like it takes more dedication. you can just get up drink some C4 and go hard on the bag and blast rap. im not taking anything away from boxing but calmness, mental peace and respect which sometimes is 10x more challenging to get back to after somone just shooped your ass for a whole match haha ik ive wrestled for years. good advice tho 🤙

Subject00001 __ You won't just brawl your way to greatness in boxing. That is just ignorance on your part. You gain rank in TKD through kata tests, yes? You HAVE to learn them, and just like anything else it is muscle memory. Competing is much different I'm assuming, in which case it's a point fight, but you will still be sparring. The idea is still not to get hit but you aren't going to be taking as much damage I'm thinking. Point scored, reset. I may be wrong, if so I would be glad to know. I believe what makes boxing harder is that you can only work with your hands and move with your legs and body. You have to become very crafty and scientific about it all.

@@aweirdperson.864 alright im being a little unfair. but i speak from personal experience. All my boxing coaches just try to be and talk like rocky fuckin Balboa and "JUST DON'T THINK JUST GO CRAZY AHHH" bullshit gets your nothing but in alot of trouble and severely injured if you run up on the wrong ppl. And you are right Taekwondo "point style" is just that points. honestly on another topic im ashamed thats all it is now. Crafty is exactly the word im looking for when talking about boxing. i respectfully retract my harsh comment since you have shown decency
@1roundleft8214 жыл бұрын
Boxing isnt all about brawling man. Theres so many various styles, and angles that makes boxing so complex. You need to have top shape cardio to last one round. You need to have strong legs, and fast hands as well as crisp reflexes.
