Marshall was on of those few Wrs that could out duel revis. So strong with his hands and one of the most underrated route runners ever in the nfl. I think big strong receivers with great route running ability gave revis the most problems compared to speedy quicker wrs. Revis could really use his hands so well against receivers that were fast at the line and could stay on top of them and mirror there release so well. Wrs like anquan bolden, Brandon Marshall and Larry fitz could give him the most problems because of they’re physicality at the line of scrimmage to force revis to play on they’re hip and perfect route running combined with ultra strong hands really could bother Revis more so.

Revis is good but he benefited from that defense getting so much pressure. Marshall had him on that slant for a TD but the ball was behind him. Go watch revis highlights for his career he was beat a lot and picked off under thrown balls

4 receptions for 52 yards vs Revis who had half of those for 2 INTs the rest was a 46 yard pass against Cro and the other was against Leonard. Also 0TDS idc how many yards you get when you get shut down on every 3rd down play plus can't get in the end zone that's a big loss for any WR

BM is nasty but let’s be honest, the only reason he was getting open is because he was being physical. Nothing wrong with that, my push back is for the bitching that Gruden was doing when Revis had the pick six because there was barely any contact from Revis, BM was the one trying to engage. Revis just kept retreating until he could play the ball. Revis won the matchup because BM was Miamis offense and yet Revis kept him out of the endzone and held him to less than 100 yards. The only receiver I’ve seen really give this man true problems is SJ.

Idk what game you were watching lol he didn't have over 50 yards against revis plus he only had 4 receptions revis had half that in INTs lol plus he was shut down every 3rd down and kept out of the endzone. Revis had 2 maybe 3 100 yard receivers in his 10 year career and besides 1 of those they were in his later career when he was 30 lol that's just impossible. He should've won DPOTY from 2009-2011 but because he didn't have 10+ ints every year he didn't.
