51 seconds "not super fast" lol Very fast, especially indoor and especially this time of year.

I was thinking the same thing. This announcer kept taking about the first lap was slow and it seems well paced

I came to the comments just to say that.If it was outdoors, I would agree, not that fast, but an indoor open 400m of 51 seconds in the 800m in blistering.

by saying it was “not super fast” to the average viewer that isnt a die hard fan, hes just letting them know it probably wont be a record setting run. With so many of these races going out so fast, there’s nothing wrong with what he said, although I do agree 51 through the 4 isn’t bad at all at this point in the season

Miller looks more muscular than I remember him looking last year. He looks strong enough to set some personal records this year

51 sec first lap followed by 54 sec second lap, indoors, at altitude, this early in the year is nuts tho...

1:45 at altitude is nuts. 5100ft in the air

I'm a little annoyed with the announcer to seriously say a 1:45.8 is not blazing when literally only 2 men in the history of AMERICAN athletics have ever ran under 1:45 in the indoor 800m. Literally the American record was only 1:45 until 2019 . A 1:45 indoor is ridiculously fast. Not only that but a 1:45 THIS early ...and at altitude, Brandon literally deserved more praise here.

its a season opener, with a non-elite field of course its not a blazing time 🤣

Actually quite a speedy indoor 800

For a non competitive opener it’s pretty fast

@@HunterThinker Yeah idk. 1:45.6 is fairly quick for an opener, indoors.

@@HunterThinkeryou’re such a bot…how about you actually have some track knowledge before speaking…1:45 is fast af any conditions but especially talking about indoors, and his season opener while literally controlling the whole race and not breaking form or slowing down
