Dunn didn't give a fuck about Novak. I had read Novak's biography and this footage was kinda fake. Dunn played "concerned" and Bam was recording. Brandon's words - Ryan despised him and he didn't care about his recovery. I loved Dunn but he could be an asshole when he wanted but I also understand how many times Novak dissapointed everyone at this time.

I just really don't get why he would do something as crazy and ridiculous as drink and drive. I got arrested for suspicion of DUI their suspicion was them watching me leave a nightclub and only having 2 beers. Passed both the breathalyzer tests but was still arrested. Man that feeling as an addict when you get caught in a lie about doing x, y, or z to cover up shooting, snorting, or whatever is the worst feeling in the world. Seeing the people in your life lose faith and trust in you, and finally seeing you for who you really are, an addict; that feeling is just terrible. The only thing worse, is to say you are cleaning up but get caught in it again.

Any suggestions for a solution That's where the real discussion is.. OR, are you just a pessimistic know it all harping on what's wrong with the world and never how to fix it!?

@talentedpigeon3296 5 жыл бұрын
@@benjaminsnead3379 statistically speaking, yes. It's up there with heroin, if not far, far beyond it. I understand the context which is why I said "how many commercials for heroin do you see?" I know alcohol is one hell of a slippery slope, *largely* because of how thoroughly it's been normalized and targeted towards children, similar to joey or whatever, the walking talking camel who's 'so cool' because he wears a black leather jacket and smokes squares. But I guess I don't see someone that has abused alcohol fit for the term junkie. Sure it will obviously lead to trouble, but when you're comparing the two for what they really are, I don't think alcohol is even remotely severe as heroin, and alcohol is fucking TERRIBLE. Two totally different leagues in my eyes. I think junkie should be reserved for crack, crystal meth, etc. If somebody has a drinking problem its something to think about, but id say most heroin users are on an entirely different spectrum of fuckit.

Dunn's reaction is one of the most human responses I've seen. He knew how powerful heroin is. Novak ain't the only junkie he had in his life. Heartbreaking, Ryan ain't with us anymore. If he hadn't allowed his own spiral to consume him, Novak would be his biggest hero... and closest friend.

I cried at the end when Ryan hugged Novak, You could see how hard he hugged him and that he clearly gave a shit, I wish I could have saved my best friend Alex, he killed himself by shooting heroin, I constantly blame myself and I’ve never been the same since, him and I were in recovery together and he was the only real friend I have ever had, it’s crazy how positive happy and caring a person can be even when dealing with the most inside, Addiction rips people apart, I would do anything to see my friend again. I would do anything to know what he was thinking to talk or even hear his voice again. He was the most free spirit I have ever known please don’t do heroin. It hurts me knowing what Ryan must have felt in that moment and how defeated Novak felt knowing he's addicted and he can't control himself and you can tell it was tearing him and his friends up. 😢 really hits me in the feels seeing this because it just reminds me exactly of what I put my friends and family thru and it fucking hurts knowing I hurt so many people around me without realizing I damage I was doing. 9 years later and I'm still making up and tryna fix all the broken promises I made and all the people I hurt
