The alliance with the juniors to get rid of the dress code made it seem much more realistic. All these people walking out because some rich girl got suspended for getting drunk at the prom and passing out at the feet of the Vice Principal, makes no sense. But people walking out because of a newly enforced dress code that was secretly passed without any student input, seems more realistic.

No way would I have walked out of class. I was a freshman when this episode aired and thought I wouldn't do anything to jeopardize my ability to graduate on time. Brandon shouldn't have made Andrea feel like she had to walk out of class. No one should be made to do something for someone they don't know and who probably wouldn't do the same if the tables were turned.

I agree. I think they were asking a lot of their classmates too and it wasn’t exactly fair of them to do that. I had forgotten the whole walk out on finals aspect and thought it was just a protest with no consequences.

@@mattsmith-er3qu they kept saying, "donna would do the same for anyone else." yeah, anyone else in the group, i believe she would have. any other student, not so sure. i definitely believe the others wouldn't have done this if donna wasn't involved b/c they pretty much made it clear that now that they were seniors, they were over west beverly and they couldn't wait to get out of there. any drama happening, they were not looking to get involved. i clearly remember seeing/hearing kelly say that several times that season. plus, the 2 lower classmen rightfully called them out that before, they didn't care less. now you step up for donna? them deciding to protest the other rules the school board wanted for the remaining students is what got them a larger support system. for them, turned out there were no consequences.
