(funky phantom didnt make the cut this time lol) huh... now that i think about it. a lot of hanna-barbera cartoons followed practically the exact same format just sometimes adding music lol.

Another thing in this movie's favor, I have to admit...a LOT of the heroes actually ended up surviving. Typically, you'd see the group get whittled down to the Alpha Hero and his love interest and/or Final Girl, like clockwork.

I'm glad I watched this one. Because... and I'm still not 100% sure... but, I think I SAW this in a THEATRE when it came out! The only things I can remember... Cameron Mitchell played the boat captain, the film was really, REALLY bad, and, I gave it my own alternate title: "THE LUST BOAT AT THE ISLAND OF KUNG-FU ZOMBIES"! Seriously, if what I'm thinking of was some OTHER movie with this plot... I can't imagine what it might be.

I used to live on a stubby, sad foothill of a mountain named "Hull" that was, back in the 80s, advertised as having the best soil for marjuana. The advertisment remained in the sales paper at least until 97... And that happy time had passed because it seemed every other plot of land turned into a meth lab. I don't know what it's like now, over twenty years gone by. Warrior island! That's what I was getting at because back in the 80s when we were still vicious proods about fun things like weed and gay stuff an ad describing the foothill I lived on as the best soil for weed in all of Eastern Washington like it was no big deal was a thing that happened so why not Warrior Island?

My ex father-in-law was(R.I.P.) Filipino. He could seriously grill some pork ribs or de-boned chicken. The overnight marinade had Sprite, Italian dressing and soy sauce. Delicious! And he also gave me a recipe for cooking dog on a spit. After killing, skinning and dressing out a small dog(any breed/mutts), stuff it with rice and beer. Slowly turn over a low fire until thoroughly cooked. He was always licking his lips when my ex's Maltese was around, never got her though.
