Well, it isn't difficult to stay out of jail and/or prison. Simply choose not to break the law. Sure, accidents and crazy things can happen, but the odds of stuff like that happening are very low. You have to repeatedly break the law or do something extreme before they throw you in prison. The legal system gives you several chances before giving you a long sentence. That is why I don't understand how people can bitch about their probation requirements being too strict. They say, 'they are trying to set me up, man. We are destined to fail'. I shake my head and say/think, 'Dude..they will only violate you if you are messing up. Simply choose to not mess up'. Going to prison is a CHOICE in 99% of all situations.
@TheHexicle
@TheHexicle 3 жыл бұрын
@@michaelr.4878 Christ, this is the ignorance that’s led to such a dire justice system in the US in the first place - you need to educate yourself boy. Crime is rarely just “a choice” and it’s a huge simplification to just saying you should “choose not to”. Research into the nature of poverty is a good place to start, maybe the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, but that has a lot of emphasis on the UK so it depends on where’s relevant to you. Just the fact alone that poverty is the number one factor related to crime should be enough to shatter your misconceptions about the reality of crime and prison.

Or at least the worst 1st world country. Here's a history lesson, what 1st, 2nd and 3rd world actually means. After World War 2 the Allies and the Soviet Union split Europe in half basically. A 1st world country is a country that is aligned with NATO, the United States and Western Europe. Mexico is technically a 1st world country along with Australia, Japan and South Korea. A 2nd world country is a country that is aligned with Russia/former Soviet Union, nations such as China, Syria and North Korea. A 3rd world country is aligned with neither, nations such as Brazil. It's an out of date terminology.
