You probably were a young kid like I was watching him and wanted him to do better against the top guys but he never pulled thru..I liked him but was just disappointed bcuz I knew he could've won those big match ups but hey this is the fight game... your faves dont always win I'm glad he is killing it at one good to see good vets get their shine and most importantly get paid like they should. Brandon Vera saw me post something positive about him on Facebook years ago and he sent me a friend request. He would always respond to comments I’d post or questions I’d ask and would even laugh at some of my jokes. After this interview I can honestly say he’s truly a delight.

Probably a dumb assessment, but at 30:14 Brandon notices Brendan's napkin get misplaced by the wind. He grabs it and replaces it at Brendan's side. It's not only what he does, but his intentions behind what he does. It's insane to think about the damage this guy has both endured and distributed along his career, and then to notice how down to earth he is and how much he really cares about other people. The Truth.
