This reminds me of my grandfather's house after twenty years of him being in prison for making methamphetamines in San Bernardino California. When he got out of prison his house was untouched and to go in and see all the old stuff and to help him find stuff that the sheriff didn't take was interesting.

Very interesting place, I like the way the house was built with the vaulted ceilings and wood. Just so you know, what you were calling Generators were actually Air Compressors. The very first one was Gas, the other two were Electric

Except for the squatters damages and rummaging through everything, that the guy or the people who did live there were actually neat nicks. Everything inside the dresser drawers were very clean, expertly folded, etc. Thanks for a great tour!

I’ve seen that a bunch of times where they want to heat the house with wood but the fireplace doesn’t heat it very well and so they run a wood stove through the fireplace cause it’s easier than putting another chimney in. That wood stove isn’t the most attractive I’ve seen. It probably was fairly cheap though. I noticed that cabinet with the amplifier in it there looks like there is an opening in the right side of the top. Maybe there is a turntable in there or a tape deck. The knife looks like the one I use to clean fish. 🎣 Those are very sharp. My neighbors farmhouse has had a tarp over the roof on a wing of the house as long as I can remember. Makes me wonder what the inside looks like.

The rope was probably once used as a laundry line, strangely some people would hang the clothes to dry inside the house in the winter to keep them from freezing outside. I think it also could have been something like a divider as well. Maybe a heavy blanket or sheets were hung on it to make the bedroom side more private. Especially if there were more than one person or child sharing the room. My parents did that in the room my brothers and I when we shared a bedroom in two bedroom apartment when I was young.

I can't help but wonder what happened to him. Maybe he was involved in a fatal accident. I wonder too if the dead animals in the basement might have been his pets.
