Teachers are blamed for the failures of families, communities, systems, student apathy, poverty, hunger, violence and a host of things completely out of their control. Because they are the street level bureaucrat for education, they take the heat. The reality is that systems make it impossible to do the job properly and the ones that can stick around deserve respect. Remember that Brandon tried teaching and realized the way the systems work made his idea of teaching impossible. Many others adapt to those systems in spite of it all and yet people still so casually give teachers heat rather than putting the accountability where it lies: the people who endorse the systems.

Brandon, I've been a fan for a while and I've had a concussion before. Everything you talked about after getting punched in the head twice (i.e. vision issues, dizzy, headache from bright lights, and 7 days of feeling like shit) is a clear sign of a concussion, and doing this repeatedly can result in permanent brain damage. Just saying, get concussion tests so you have a baseline before and after to measure your health. Also the progress you've made from last video to this is awesome.
@parker55482 жыл бұрын
Right, he almost certainly has a concussion at this point. How are none of his training partners saying anything? He needs to stay ahead of this or it can lead to TBI or long term damage. Yo mad respect for showing your real emotions and take this for whatever it's worth but I think you did great bro, lot of people talk a lot of shit never lift a fucking finger to even get started on anything and watching your ark on KZbin has been inspiring enough but to know this was involved takes it to a whole another level because you're not just doing what you're doing for the channel or just for the boxing you're doing it for both and it's bigger than you and I'd like to think I know you a little bit to confidently say that there's a good part of you doing it all for your brother so I guess just don't ever lose sight of your ultimate reason or your drive. Again like I said mad props cuz that's an insane amount of cardio and overall exertion of energy that most people don't understand. It's easy to think you can go fucking three rounds in a ring when the reality is you likely wouldn't even make it 30 seconds before your arms are moving like sludge if they even are moving and you're not flat on your back because like Brandon said here and Mike Tyson said infamously, everybody's got a plan until they get hit in the face. Totally different realm of reality that you step into living when you accept the fact that being punched in the face of the natural possibility in any form whether it's boxing or because you decided to talk reckless at the gas pump and it's a possibility that is unfortunately missing from most people's conception of reality and they just walk around like spoiled entitled little shits while they demonstrate how they've never had to face a real adversity that they didn't create themselves on social media

Regardless of your skill progression, you showed all heart in that first session. Clearly emptied the tank and didn't give up. It's easy to look good in the gym and you are clearly improving, but things are different when you are gassed and eating punches. You are putting in the work and that will go a long way in your Creator Clash bout. Don't be so hard on yourself mate.

It might not feel like it after getting dropped like a sack of potatoes but you've definitely made huge improvements in both your boxing game and just your physical shape as well. You look like a legit boxer compared to when you started just stay positive and keep perfecting your technique and you'll be one cold ass rider homie.

Ok wtf there is so much wrong in this vid. That blonde dude did you dirty during the spar, threw way too hard and walked away after dropping you. You still fought after this, without headgear, against more trained guys who WERE wearing headgear. You then got pummeled way beyond what should have been stopped. Horrific stuff, prioritize your safety since clearly nobody else is.

I wanna straighten a few things out! I'm Jason big6 estrada . Its my gym and i train Brandon. No one was making fun of him we love that kid he has become part of the family. Everyone thought he was bullshitin because no one knew about him being knocked out and he barely got hit. That's why Everyone thought he was faking. He has been in there multiple times with different fighters and got hit way harder and didn't flinch so for him to get hit and go down like that was shockin. We don't make fun of situations like that. Brandon told me after the fact what happen. If he would have i wouldn't let him spar just like i stopped him from sparrin for the rest of camp
@Blongonious2 жыл бұрын
@@jasonestrada9395 Thank you for clarifying most people wouldn't do that, I was just concerned about such hard sparring possibly leading to head trauma after he had said he was dizzy for a few days, the reason I assume you stopped him from sparring the rest of the camp which is an excellent call, it was just concerning to see him get dropped twice in succession and hit with such hard punches in sparring. No disrespect to you or your team sir you've obviously whipped brandon into shape and he's looking great hope your boy wins
@jasonestrada93952 жыл бұрын
I had to do other shit he actually had a concussion that's why he was seeing black and had a headache after hitting the bag and i had no clue cuz he only told me after. I don't want no one dying on my watch if you got a real concussion .

Dude he fucking fell tf over and they just let them keep going? What the fuck kind of standards is that? Hope that coach actually learned a lesson, because that looks BAD on him if his athletes are risking CTE doing basic shit like sparring because HE didn't stop it when he should have.

Head injuries are no joke man. I've sustained several concussions throughout my life and that combined with horrific whiplash from a car accident several years ago, I have never felt the same. I understand this is for an event but make sure you take great lengths to look after your head health. Once you start fading mentally, it's very difficult and it's a dark place to try to and get back to where you were. I have an insane amount of respect for you as a person and I'm hoping you can come out of this entire process healthy and happy.
@R8Kaix2 жыл бұрын
If you were feeling like there was water in your head you need to go to the doctors seriously that can be a sign of a brain bleed happened to boxer Gerald mccellan in a boxing match said he felt like water was in his head to his corner lost by tko and commentators and everyone said he was quitting and then turned out he had a brain bleed and was brains damaged for the rest of his life

Nah, that first punch was nothing. It was an exhaustion KO. THey all knew it and boxers can tell. It probably sucked to get hit with but it didnt KO him. If he’s going to full power box, he NEEDs to test his chin occasionally.

@@totenfurwotan4478 you can clearly tell by the way he dropped it wasn't an "Exhaustion KO" what ever that is.
