Sam Hyde is such a good coach. When brandon was being too hard on himself, the advice Sam gave him of being like a 'robot' and treating it 'like work', really helped me. My passion is my strength and my weakness and to hear Sam explain how to not let desire burn you before you've completed your project was like gold for me. Great job, brandon.

Idk what you do, I do MMA, and I follow john danaher. He's a BJJ instructor and has a lot of great insight on mentality related to combat sports. His advice has helped me through a lot of turbulent points. The general theme he promotes is one of keeping things in perspective so you don't get overwhelmed. It might be worth checking out if you want some good advice.

@Comment Authority I think that's up in the air. I mean the conventional example of getting cte are athletes that consistently do a full contact sport. I won't lie and pretend being punched in the head is great but there's countless of examples of people who've trained at boxing gyms there whole life and were fine. Boxing keeps you in shape and teaches you discipline so if a KZbinr wants to train and play boxer every once in a while I think it's fine. I guarantee you no matter how hard he leans into this boxing thing he'll have a fraction of a fraction of the time pros put in. It's like telling your friends who has a cigarette every one in a while when he drinks that he'll get cancer. It's not not possible but it's alot less likely.
