not really ! too much un motivated movement can look cheesy and noob. I hate when a shot just starts moving for no reason... or... rotating! 😅

There is no other youtuber that uses camera movement like Brandon Li. Excellent!!!
As a storyteller, I like my camera movements to be motivated unless the unmotivated ones cover necessary story elements. I literally just had a lesson with my students about how to shoot static subjects and one of them was to move the camera. So this was really a treat to see.

Hey Brandon, your explanation was true. Another technical term for Unmotivated camera movement is called the Omniscient camera unlike the objective camera which subtle move the Omniscient camera can goes and stop at any where to hint the audience about what's going or will be going on. The motivated camera is the subjective camera because it puts the audience closer or into what the character's doing. I hope I didn't step a line. Keep shooting my friend I love your work very much and I just subscribed to your channel.
@BrandonLiUnscripted3 жыл бұрын
Thanks, as I understand it, omniscient camera isn't necessarily a moving camera. Omniscient could be static as well. It's just a camera that doesn't represent the viewpoint of a particular character.
@asdf-channel38003 жыл бұрын
@@BrandonLiUnscripted Brandon, you're right. That's exactly what I said Omniscient camera is. It is a third person point of view. It can moves or stop/static to hints the audience about what's going on in the scene .
