iPxmpedYew sooo this happened to my boyfriends PlayStation and we’ve tried EVERYTHING and every video. Even called PlayStation and Sony and our internet to see why it was not working. And how we solved the problem was get a new router. And we it worked! Since ours internet provider is Cox we just went inside requested a new router and they gave us a new one just like that and boom it worked! Hopefully this helps out anyone who is still having trouble. Request a new router from your internet provider and it should work.

If it fails after doing this, go back to PSN and try to sign in and it should go. It failed for my husband but he left these setting from the video in the fields and signed into PSN. After he signed in everything passed on the connection test.

Hey everyone, if this doesn't work, try connecting your PS4 to a hotspot from your phone. I struggled with the same problem for weeks. Connect your PS to your phone network, shut the Playstation down, then turn off your hotspot, start your PS4 back up, and attempt to connect to your original wifi network. Hope this helps.

If you changed your user, or if this is occurring to you in 2019, go to ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT, and it should say “sign in”. That’s the fix that helped me. Then the internet should be connected

+N7Jonas It basically means your IP address was banned. I believe you have to call PS4 customer support and tell them your IP address was banned.

So annoyed right now. Been using 1473 as MTU setting for past couple of days, but I read you have to change it back to 1500 when PSN is back to normal. Thought I'd test to see if it was... and now I can't get back online using 1473 or 1500. Sony need to sort this the fuck out. Coming up to a week of messed up PSN now.

Didnt work for although I did get it to work after 1. Pushing reset button on router/modem 2. Unplugging and plugging router/modem 3. Retried connecting regularly to my Wi-Fi. If that still doesnt work, u guys will be able to connect through the LAN cable as I did for backup reasons

+Victor deconnick I had the same problem guys first take the cable that charge your controller and plug it in and see if it works if not you have to reset your ps4 and put on the cable that you charge your controller.... If it doesn't work try it again reset it because it worked for me

abdelaziz ennami press the button when you turn off the ps4 hold it for 7-10 secound when you hear the second beep and it will take you to safe mode go to number 4 if you have any problem with ps4 but if you reset it that means everything will be deleted from your ps4 and it will be like brand you and if you wanna do that you just go to setting and there should be something says instalizing something like this that's how you do it hope that help can i know what kind of problem you have so i can help you ?
