This song hits it spot on on how I am feeling the past few months with my husband! Going through a painful separation/divorce. Was a toxic and mentally abusive marriage The only part that is different for me is I truly feel like I hate him for what he did to me and put me through. But yet I would have thoughts of giving in and going back but I know it wouldn't be good for me and this song reminds me of that and that I cant go back!

I been separated since Sept and the part of your song "I need to stay mad at you so I wont come back" I can also relate to. Because as these months go by you start thinking, well... maybe its not that bad or maybe things will be different now because the pain isn't as fresh. And he'll send a letter to me or something wanting me back but then shortly after, I find out he's still pulling crap while we are separated so then I get mad/upset and then it just reminds me he won't change and I try to just block him on everything so I can have time to heal and not have him in my face making things worse. Your song will definitely be a go to song to help me or any other person to be strong and not give into their toxic relationship they are trying to stay away from!
