Just wanted to say the pain simulation thing was in a weird spot if it's period cramps. Our cramps are usually lower, located more towards the uterus. But those are just abdominal cramps. We can get them in our back, hips, thighs and legs. My point was that that's why it could have hurt more. Maybe it was just on a weird spot on the stomach. Also as someone with really bad cramps I really want to try those out lol.

If I was on the girls team I would have crushed the ice bowl challenge. Used to do that every day being a Massage Therapist, it helps. I would do it for 10 minutes. Although one time I put too much ice in and my hand turned blue, that wasn’t good but thankfully I was ok lol But omg the pain when I took my hand out and my roommate walked in and screamed, then ran out of the room, I will never forget 😂

Actually, study after study indicates that Men have both increased Pain threshold and Pain tolerance compared to Women, in practically all modalities of Pain (Mechanical / Chemical / Thermal / Etc.) It is believed to be attributed to several factors, including: Biological factors: For example, Women have higher density of Sensory nerves, including Nociceptors (the ones that relay painful information to the brain), as well as Hormones (e.g. Testosterone seems to predominantly ameliorate perception of Painful stimuli, whereas Estrogen have a mixed effect on Painful stimuli, and can also exacerbate Pain perception) But Psychological and Social factors are also believed to play a role. This is not misogynstic, just factual. This of course doesn't mean that A given woman cannot have a higher pain threshold / tolerance than A give man - that's of course a ludicrous logical conclusion - it just means that provided enough people, if we divide them by gender, Men will have a Higher pain threshold and tolerance than Women (in terms of Percentage)
