The first neck workout is actually a very common workout in Motorsport racing. Because they have to keep their necks so stiff for 2-3 hours in the car seat

The grip test one is for gymnasts and mountain climbers. It's a normal testing device in school in other countries. It's even in My Hero Academia anime
