Thanks! It was a long time ago now, but it was terrific fun. It’s been maybe 8 years since I owned that bike; it came up for sale recently at a shop in Exeter, and sadly the years haven’t been kind!

Yeah it was brilliant. I did at least one track day a month last year but yesterday was my first one this year. I've missed it and the GP circuit is fantastic. I was in the inters group.

I was on a Lawson rep ZRX1200 which is limited by stock gearing so acceleration is not the best and top speed is down by 25mph on the straights compared to the litre sports bikes so I try and carry more corner speed. Frit myself a couple of times pushing boundaries. ;-)) I had a few boys squirt passed me under acceleration only to hold me up in the corners. Must get me a litre sports bike. Had a ZX6 last year. It felt like I was working hard and was pleased to see I've mullered the tyres.

I've done the Indy a few times, but that was my first time on the GP circuit. Loved it! First trackday for FIVE YEARS! Need to do more... And buy a faster bike. What were you riding - looks like an R6 on your video? Pretty quick!
