One of the best investments a grain guy can buy himself, kinda like a cattle guy buying a bale processor.

Hey that s nice vac. Sure beats shoveling any day. Thanks for the cold weather! TV weather guy say we have an Alberta Clipper coming our way on Tuesday. I’m ready for spring. LOL. Happy farming.

Hi, Ty! A friend of mine just got a new grain vac. I don't remember the brand, but it's mostly green with some yellow. 20 K is what his was. So, we're headed for -17 tonight That's F!!! Struggling to get to -11 tomorrow. This northern Indiana, not Manitoba,W T H? Then another -17 for Wednesday night, Jeeeeez! Anyway, I'll shut up and wait for Spring now. Stay warm, bud.

@@Northern_Farmer Well,I just got back in from banking snow in a few critical areas around the house, a snow blanket ,if you can imagine.It's around 0 degrees here, 17 to go. I DO remember having a bit of trouble figuring how to say the name, just might be Walinga. Keep warm....

The Chinook winds have sucked the cold air down into the Midwest, we're warm here in the Anchorage area too.
@MatthewHoag776 жыл бұрын
We've got a Polar Vortex sitting right over the upper Midwest right now, and it'll be quite intense over the next 3-4 days.

@@MatthewHoag77 Sorry about the nasty cold your having, this is the second "January Thaw" were having here and now the climate change snowflakes are starting to scream. Would dreather have kept the 0 to -10 days we had last week. usually no winds here near Anchorage but my main home in Kansas sure gets the prairie winds. Colder there in winter than the winters up here
@kswaynes75696 жыл бұрын
@@MatthewHoag77 Yes, been keeping up with Brad Larson and Ben Vesser. Spent 50 years in SE Michigan and 1 1/2 years up in International Falls, MN. It's a steadier temp in the Anchorage, AK area than the Midwest.
@piperdoug4286 жыл бұрын
Ummmm. here in SW Manitoba we're in for a base line temp of -42c on tuesday night. just pray theres no wind.

@@kswaynes7569 Brad is a friend of mine. He lives a few miles from my farming uncles. Anchorage has the advantage of being close to the ocean. I drive through Int'l Falls every year in the summer when I go fishing in Ontario. The midwest weather is so seasonal as well as volatile that you can easily state: "Don't like the weather? Wait for 5 minutes and it might change." This vortex, on the other hand, will be here for a while.

I hope you listen to and sing along to "I Want To Break Free" when using the floor attachment, given how hold it is I'd understand not wearing a dress as well

We have a walinga vac, always wanted one of those exhaust style vacs but now we only have bins on cones so now the vac is only used for cleaning up heated stuff and such
@Northern_Farmer6 жыл бұрын
The good thing about those vacs is you dont loose capacity from the friction loss from adding more pipe
