Alfalfa was REALLY slow this year for 1st cut... basically had 1/2 of it knocked down before it was blooming becaues the grass was so far ahead and nice. Must have been a frost or from the cold temps in May stunted it. Starting 2nd cut now and the alfalfa is really solid with all the moisture.

Sure like working up the pea stubble too. Really mellows out the soil it seems. Guess the roots must add a lot of fibre and go down deeper to fracture up the soil. Our sweet clover crops really bust up the soil, works well for a long time afterwards.

Same with canola...always remember canola stubble being easier to work then cereal

@@Northern_Farmer I’ve never grown the yellow devil. Lol. Only grow things I can feed cows in case things goes sideways, but I can see what you mean. Looks like a good stalk and root system.

You had lots of open space to move the equipment and get it all....even the ditches by the road you could of put down....takes very little more time and you will get a few more bails which is a few hundred more dollars.

Oh I know how corrosive CaCl2 is, I used to load it for completion fluids. It'll melt the snow/ice right off. Making it with potable water and the dry CaCl2 in 2000# totes to make 11.6 PPG fluid, it would get around 200 degrees

Hello How many front wheel assists tractors and 2 wheel drive tractors you have on your farm. I have a 7110 case international 2 wheel drive tractor with single tires on the back. I sure like that tractor also i have a Kubota front wheel assist tractor with a front end loader on it and a grabber fork on the bucket. It is 135 horse power my Kubota front wheel assist tractor. I like that tractor alot too on my farm by Reward Saskatchewan.

👍 its like the back roads drive i like to take, but i dont have to burn the fuel or drive & i got company that doesn't keep asking where are we going. 😄 i seen videos that in other countries they completely rework the rubber on a tire to fix cracks & make them where they are as good as new. I could see this working for farm tires.
