I have to disc a former garden and the bumpy lawn around it before the ground freezes here east of Saint Paul Minnesota. I’m doing it on a smaller scale with my Toro 522xi garden tractor and two Agri Fab discs attached in tandem. I just have to bolt a hitch to the front of the disc with parts I have sitting around.

Don't listen to the people saying the emissions engines are garbage. If you know how to operate one, and aren't lazy, they're great engines. You just have to let them warm up. Don't idle excessively. You can still idle, just not excessively. If it goes into regen, don't do anything until it's done. It will go back to normal idle when it's out of region. It's like 10 15 20 minutes. Depending on how you have it set. The most important thing is to work the engine hard enough that it doesn't go into regen in the first place.. the people that are crying about it are the ones that tuned their computers, turned up the fuel to make it a smoke roller put a moon tune etc. keep it stock operate it like you're supposed to, and take care of it and you won't have any problems with it. Big thing to remember is the DPF filters are made to last the life of a vehicle. Get one before def but with a DPF filter, and you should have no problems. I run a cat skid steer with a DPF filter and no DEF fluid occasionally, it will go into Regen but for the most part as long as I operate it normally it's fine I've never had an issue with it and I put over h2,000 on it. The people that are saying they're designed to fail at a certain time frame have no idea what they're talking about. Do your research get something that works for your operation. But don't let all these morons scare you away from emissions diesel engines. As long as you take care of them like you're supposed to service them at the regular intervals, and operate them like a normal human being, you won't have any problems with it

Thanks from a UK arable farmer just north of London. All our land was cleared by ancient man by flint head axes! So nobody has any new ground to break. When I was younger in the 1980s, I spent time in Zimbabwe, southern Africa and saw land still being "stumped" with the timber saved to burn to make steam to condition tobacco. Your job reminded me of that, except it was +35C and humid at Christmas!
