Brandy, how about some open shelving over the coffee bar. You can have artwork, pottery, greenery, and/or cups. You have such a talent for design that anything you do would be lovely.

Maybe you can use a modern tray or a large table placemat? Or fold a table runner? 🤔 I do think you might need to protect the wood with a glass topper. One you run an extension cord, you could hide the cord using those cable concealers that people use for their wall-mounted TVs.

I like it that direction too, but now it is full of stuff and will it be used? Maybe just the basil pot and couple cloves of garlic which are easy to move. I think a piece of art on the open shelf for height and interest.

Hi Brandy you need art on the kitchen shelf, plus a tall mirror or art work on the coffee station, plus the mirror does not go beside the tv.A tray would be lovely for the coffee station. ❤

I would look for an off cut of marble to go on top of the coffee bar and add a vintage piece of art to the shelf. Great video on how to “shop your house”. Love your style

Love your espresso bar- it’s perfectly old world. I sort of just want to put like a small piece of vintage art with a gold frame on your shelf above the sink, maybe behind one of the sets of plates. It might not be too busy, just something you could try! Love watching you work and massage the space on camera ❤

Love it and I agree with putting a vintage picture on or above shelf and maybe a plant that hangs down from above the refrigerator, coming down by the wooden cutting boards.

I’m new to your channel and just saw this video. Zach is correct about the mirror. According to Feng Shui practice, having a mirror directly across from your door essentially means that all of your good Chi/good fortune is entering your home and reflecting off the mirror and going right back out of your home.

I agree with Zac that the Boos Block needs to stay out on your counter. Old World kitchens show their beautiful working pieces. Have you tried hanging the lid above the crystal glassware on the shelf? The glass appears negative, like there’s nothing there. But don’t mind me-I’m definitely more of a maximalist in decorating. lol The cabinet you’ve brought out is an amazing piece! It was much too beautiful to not be seen. I can’t wait to see the completion of this space, but it’s all looking good!! 👏💯%❤️

Brandy, if you put a tier tray to the right of the coffee machine, it would be tall enough to cover the light switch. And you could put a couple of open shelves on the wall above. Put hanging knobs beneath the bottom shelf and hang a tee towel to cover the light switch on the left side. Easy fix.

Hi Brandy and Zach. 🤗 It is most certainly a fantastic idea putting a coffee bar there. Your cabinet is stunning. Your impromptu videos are amazing. It is fun to see your thought process in action. As someone already commented, you most certainly could put a free standing shelf up top to give you more space to put what ever your heart desires. Your counter tops are lovely. I think the cutting board laying down beside the sink is also so practical. It is such a joy to see you decorate and to have Zach so supportive of what you do and also to be involved in a positive way, it is just so loving. ❤ Take care!!

Get the extension cord cover that is completely straight cut it so that it goes around your wall at bottom . Then staple onto bottom of baseboard it will look pro and tidy

It’s a must for me to periodically refresh my home. And I try my best to do it with minimal shopping required. 🤞🏼And it is very important to me that my decorating is functional especially in my kitchen. I agree with leaving the cutting board out. I use mine several times in a day.

Love your style. Have you thought of a riser under the coffee machine? It might raise enough to cover the outlet and maybe a vase or tall thin candelabras to cover the other. Mirrors aren’t supposed to be good facing doors, as Jack said. Something to do with fortune energy.

Love the coffee area you added! Maybe you could put a clear command hook on back of the cabinet to hold the ext. cord until you need to plug it in.. just a thought. The whole kitchen looks great 🤩

You can piggyback from that plug outlet on the side wall and put in another outlet behind the coffee bar.

You might be interested to know that glass cleaner can be used on all shiny surfaces...on the bottle i use in the UK, it actually tells you on the instructions on the label....but only a saddo like me would look at instructions & uses on the back of a bottle of glass cleaner!! 😂🤦🏼‍♀️💫

Smeg toaster is decorative. I would not put it away. It gives your kitchen a vibe. Shelves over coffee bar. Also no need to hide electrical outlets on backsplash….limits where you place kitchen appliances and deco.

Would put the round boards back where they were. They’re a different shape. Keep the big one and the rest together, I threw away all my plastic tcutting boards. Once you realize how much bacteria is on it. And now I only use wood. And if you have a Boos board you have a good one.i am hoping to get one someday. 😊 I just took a crock I bought and put all my utensils in it. Then I put some olive oil and some balsamic vinegar into another sprayer thing I already had in my cabnet. So I’m rearranging mine as you do yours.

How about get a piece of clear acrylic cut for the entire top of the piece? I’m sure it’s pretty inexpensive, and you’d still see the beautiful wood and it would be totally protected.

What about a basket or two in your kitchen for texture. Maybe a flatter, not too big…. tobacco type up on the shelves or on that wall? The lamp on the new espresso bar would be battery operated? Other wise you will have another cord going around the corner. If the cord is the same color (or close) to the color of the base board, if there is base boards, you can affix it to the very bottom of the base board so it is not obvious. Love your style - decorated but clean and not cluttered. Keep them coming!😁

How about a piece of marble for the top of cabinet? There are always off/end cuts for sale. Also for the outlet, get a flat cover with cord long enough to go along the baseboard and behind cabinet.

Hi Brandy! How about a small runner over the cabinet that comes a little down each side. That may be fun! There are so many nice ones that have "see through" vintage lace....You could then put a small white mat just where you need it for spills. I don't mind the top shelf but I feel like a nice "simple" painting would be nice, since you have the light. There's so many ones you can just print from Etsy then frame. ....one that may have a white pitcher/bowl with white dishes, or a few pears, etc. I also felt the recipe box seems out of place. Could it be in front of the crocks and they could be moved apart a little bit. That was really the only part of the kitchen that seemed "off" to me. Otherwise I loved the video. This is real life decorating and it takes time and shifting items around until you feel it is just right.

Put casters on the cart to lift the height where the coffee machine would cover the switches on the left. It seems a bit short fir a coffee bar(?) plus you can move the cart around, in the kitchen for extra tabletop when cooking chopping, etc. Agree with your sub, buy cable covers. Ok still watching 😊 Brandy, just finished watching and I'm liking the way you refreshed each vignette with what you already had. It gave some of the pieces a different look. The mirror placement is my only ? Like you both said, I'm not a fan of a mirror reflecting back as I'm watching TV or sitting on the couch but it looks nice, not cluttered. I would put the toaster away. I have most SMEG appliances and they look amazing displayed but not with the vibe you're going for in my POV. I have a Boos cutting board displayed to which I use all the time. I would keep it flat and if you need more counterspace you can lean it on the wall. The cart is awesome. When you add linens you may want to line it or put in containers to avoid the wood scent from transferring into the material. Share more, even if a small change. ☺️👍🫶

Funny, I just brought my Boos block out to be used after storing it behind my everyday cutting boards. It’s too nice and practical not to use.
