WOW! This is exceptionally well done, even the square wave's pitch bending is spot on. I think it was a brilliant move to use the DMC channel (if I'm seeing that right) for the synth guitar and countdown samples, they're an iconic part of the battle theme and it'd feel empty without them. Once again, phenomenal work!

Pokémon Black 2 will always have a special place in my heart. While Pokémon Pearl got me interested in Pokémon music thanks to the objectively best Pokémon Champion; B2 is when I realized how great it could be. First was Hugh's Theme, my favorite rival to this day, and then Colress' Theme...absolutely stellar. Fun Irrelevant Fact: Back in Pokémon Pearl, I always preferred Cynthia's piano room music to her actual battle theme. So imagine my bittersweet emotions when they essentially gave Volo what I always wanted Cynthia to have. Even they knew that piano deserved more respect. Lol
