(and bought a Magmaloc while doing it), then just repeatedly bought the reappearing Tier 6 minion and getting double Theo by turn 9?? Woah! That amount of luck! :D And still didn't win the lobby. I would be kinda pissed :P Edit: Also goldened the Magmaloc... wtf?

Considering Zeph's hero power can triple a minion even if there are none left in the pool, if you were to sell a minion like brann would he get added to the pool for everyone?

Is staying on tier 1 a strategy due to the importance of maximizing buddy discounts or is there something more specific to Zephrys?

You want pairs so you can go level 4 and then use the hero power. Never go on level 4 without pairs.

In this case we're making sure that we can hit the 5 drop on 8 gold, so that we can copy the 5 drop & golden it with the Hero Power on 9 gold.

No matter you won, with frog in shop the pick in the first triple was baron. With Brann you need to hit overseers and murkai. With baron golden and frog in shop the game is basically done, you don't need to hit anything else (and it's more enjoyable than murloc Brann but that's my opinion)

Frogs are much harder to build. You need to find Mama bear before you play your beasts or play a bunch of Uthers to get your minions higher HP. At my MMR people will counter you with Blasters & Titus to kill your Parrots & Rat before you have a chance to scale. The Brann route is much stronger & safer.

That Titus is golden with 14 hp. Titus blaster scenario is a late game scenario, so you can say that it's top 2 easy if you pick Titus, and probably top 1 cause you have time to find buffs and Uther's and you have a fcking golden baron at turn 7 with frog in shop. Titus Blaster doesn't kill golden baron. If it kills other beasts (you can easy golden 2 of them and bring them at higher HP btw), they gives you buffs that easy defeat an opponent that affords to play Titus Blaster. With golden Brann can just go wrong. And to be at higher MMR the pick is baron. Cause it's safer in this specific situation and stronger by default.

I'm wondering why you wouldn't double sell selemental and buy the cat on turn 2? You keep the same amount of gold, you just lose 1 roll. Isn't it worth it for being slightly stronger and reducing buddy cost/having additional minion to triple on warrior curve? Is that one roll that valuable? Not judging you or anything - trying to learn here!
