Jordi Castellà On a low end system like that you probably won't hear a diffence. But on decent gear when you close the dust cover the sound straight off the stylus gets trapped inside that small space and then picked up through the stylus and sent through the system, messing with the sound, on more revealing equipment you'll hear the difference.
