Put this in a hatch or even a true wagon as a hybrid and keep the price under 30k and you'd probably sell them in the tens of thousands. Add in a PHEV for 34k that gets up to 10k in rebates across Canada and there would be waitlists years long just like the RAV4 Prime/Plugin.

I like the look of both trim models except for the grill/headlights. My 2023 Forte looks a little more aggressive in the same area. Nice that the 2023 has the same hp/torque. The K4 is a little heavier as if carrying an additional 90 kg of cargo or a person. Not a fan of the dashboard. I will always prefer the analog speedometer/tachometer layout with digital display in the middle.

I love hubcap cars so when you scrape the hubcap you can just easily change it. Having a bigger side wall is always better for cracks in roads.

EX is the way to go if you can do it. You know the the Civic now starts at almost $30,000 .. like that is the starting point .. add tax to that spread and the lost potential to having that money in your pocket or not paying interest on it for years likely. Cars have gotten expensive but these offer just a wonderful value even before you look at the outstanding content and so on.

FR!! I was looking into buying the 2024 civic hatchback and oh my god they’re selling ad 27-29k like wth! Even the lowest trim start at 26k. I wanted a Honda for its fuel efficiency. But these new Kia’s look really nice. Come with a lot of features.

Cross traffic - you know - I think my Elantra the brake shakes or something - but the new ones for sure have the tectonic (?) feedback where if the car is not happy with what you are doing it uses even shaking and vibrating to transparently tell you to pay attention to what you are doing.

I seen a black K4 earlier today and… I need to see other colors. The vertical amber LED’s look awkward on the K4 and stretch too far towards the bumper. It works on the EV9, updated K8 (other markets outside the US), Sorento & Carnival. Not a fan of the tail light design but looks great illuminated. I have a 2019 Kia Optima and the K4 appears very comparable size wise, even though there’s about a six inch difference. The black cladding on the wheel arches gives the K4 a faux lifted sedan appearance, which isn’t bad, but a bit odd for a sedan. Curious to see what Kia does with the EV4 design when it arrives.

I like SUV better. I have a 2024 kia sportage x line. But the K4 looks very roomy for a compact sedan and im sure it is. My son has a 2023 Kia Rio hatchback and amazed at the room it has im 6ft 3in 350lbs and i fit comfortably in passanger seat. All that said just to say Kia does an incredible job providing room. Also love these videos 😊

You can’t see out the rear window AT ALL and lose the rear view peripheral view to due to the C-Pillar being the D-Pillar. We opted for the EV6.

Don't forget the 100k + engine recalls for Toyota Tundras, and the 720K vehicle recall from Honda for fire risks. Oh, and the GM engine failures, sometimes with less than 10 thousand kilometers. And before I forget, Ford Bronco engine failures.
