@@Rich-cb6gp Its been great! I still have much to get used to, but the Kia channel has helped a lot with stuff like that. It started snowing here, so I'm excited to use the snow drive mode pretty soon. Kia Connect has been a lifesaver. You can create different vehicle start modes, and it sends you notifications if you forget to lock your car. I made a great choice. The EX is the trim where you get many of the good features. I really don't see a need to move up to the EX premium.

I have the X line which is a higher trim? But for some reason I don't have heated windows or the fog lights. I feel that's odd to have less features with a higher trim

The X line is one trim below the EX in Canada.

The X-Line is one off the base model. The X-Line Limited is the higher trim and it’s currently the highest trim offered in Canada.

I ordered Kia sportage PHEV in March 2023 but I have no news about it. Last I spoke to dealership they said it will be available in June or July 2024, so what model will I get that time 2023 or 2024.

Does the EX or EX Premium have wireless apple car play ?

Nope. Both have wired. Any Sportage with a 12.3 inch screen has wired apple/android CarPlay.

A few questions: How long is the wait for this vehicle? When you deliver within Ontario, do you send vehicle to local Kia dealer? Are side mirrors heated? Thanks in advance.

Hi great question! As of right now we have 2 Sportage EX AWD’S built and en route to the dealership (Black and Steel Grey). These vehicles should be here in about a month. When it comes to delivery, all incoming vehicles are delivered to our dealership where we then coordinate a truck and trailer to drop the car off at our customers preferred pick up point (home, work, etc). Hi I went to see the Sportage in Gatineau Quebec, and they say that Kia sent out a letter that you cannot order a car(meaning I want a EX premium in black with black interior), why do they say that and you guys say you can? I used to have a 23 EX premium in black and I loved it but my husband totaled it this past March so we bought a 23 Stinger GT Elite, I love that car but hesitant to drive it in the winter, I want the sportage for the winter but my husband said no loool...

Does the infotainment screen remember the last screen that it was on when you shut the car off or does it always revert back to the home screen at start up? Is that true of all Kia's with that type of infotainment screen?

I'm in Ohio and last Friday I just traded in my last lease which was a 2021 Sportage due to the lease ending very soon and wound up leasing a brand new 2024 exactly like the one in this video except mine has cloth interior and no panoramic sunroof. It's an EX AWD but more on a basic side with the options

I've often wondered why nobody offers two tone vehicles. Like where you could have the top half of the exterior Blue but then have a fade into black towards the bottom. Do we not have the technology? Cause I feel like it's a bit weird that Dealerships can't collab with the manufacturer to request a customer's order. Dealerships just get a surprise inventory truck and it's just a "hey you're gonna get what we give ya" kind of thing. I feel like in the future if a car company wants to find a way to be better than their competition, that offering that ability for a dealership to place a specific order would really draw in the praise. I guess the logistics are just too difficult to fill the supply and demand whilst offering that level of request. idk

Re: Color (You were talking about it towards the end of the video) went with the Wolf Grey, but actually would have liked the Vesta Blue. The problem was it's only available for the Hybrid version. (which had 0 availability in a 200 mile radius around NJ) The Blue in the X line (while my favorite color) IMO was a bit too bright and stand out-ish to have on a car. And I'm not a young person anymore. I feel like a bright color is more like a younger thing to get. Also, there was very little availability with even that color Blue for the X line Trim's. Sooo I went with Grey. But they're saying there's so many Non Color inventory because that's what sells. So I'll kind of debate that other colors would sell more IF they were more available and more shades. My Boomer Parents for example love green's and blues too but as Boomer's they'd only go with the light pastel type of color shade. I'm a Gen X. So I'm not quite up for the super bright one's but like that Vesta Blue or a mixed, less loud version....Yeah I'd be all about that. Black's and some other Grey's/Whites IMO don't really mix well with showing off the trim area's. And often limit your options with interior choices. Like if you have a white car...exterior has gotta be black. The Black on Black featured in this video, I don't think is too many people's vibe. And White cars too me just give me either Cop vibes or Company Car vibes. Every time I see a white car in the distance I'm like..."oh! Better watch my speed. That kind of looks like a cop" And I'd just hate to be that guy to everyone else, though I don't think anyone will mistake the Boomerang Day Lights for a cop car :D lol

It has a FWD bias (for fuel efficiency) but kicks in power to all wheels when necessary (snow, acceleration, etc)
