Beautiful piece of God's creation you have brother and amazing job raising your kids how all kids you should be raised being true country is not just an accent it's courtesy, self sufficiency, respect, God fearing, and never backing down from any job or problem. Nashville is as far from country this day and age as a man can get brother and Georgia is for sure God's country I miss home so bad. Tennessee is beautiful but it's just not the same.

It's been really cool and inspiring...following you and your journey through this crazy world. I have been listening to your music since you played in the "dives." I remember seeing you at a tiny spot on the main street in Rome, Georgia a couple of times. The show you did for the veterans in Chattanooga was badass too! I remember riding the back roads as a teenager, listening to "The Best Of Me", Whenever we're alone", Kick It in the sticks, and Saving Amy...all of those songs were so well written! I admire your strength & courage regarding addiction. I was in active addiction for 17 years. I would do anything anyone put in front of me. I did some time, lost a lot of things, and lost a lot of good people. I got clean in September 2019. I now work in treatment, doing my best to help others find their way to a better life, and that looks different for everyone. You have come a long way since the "Halfway To Heaven days." PLEASE continue to stay true to you and listen to that first voice/instinct. You are an amazing songwriter. Your voice on the older ballads takes me back to the good Ole days. The grit and upbeat stuff is awesome, but throw a gem in here and there for those of us who know how good your voice really is! From a fellow northern Georgia fan, thank you for sticking to your roots and sharing your life with us!👊🏻
