Who’s here in 2024 reminiscing on songs we used to post on Facebook when it first came out in middle school?

Now this is country music. There's heart, a story, and history. That is the essence of country. This guy is my hero.

I don't care what anyone says, BG is today's Hank Jr.. I've been listening to Hank since the 70's and BG's writing and voice is one in a million. 'Nough said.

brantley got me through a lot, marriage, divorce, and moving on, in my opinion, thes the best songwriter out there, bg nation for life

Same. Gave me the strength to leave an alcoholic and the strength to keep going after him. I feel like the girls Brantley has written about *stepping over his beers* that had to leave him and move on. This guy is perfect to us but he wasn't perfect to his long list of exes either. It's even mindblowing to me that girls he's written about in songs like "She's my kind of crazy" and "More Than Miles" weren't even about his wife. They were from relationships that seemed right at the time and not meant to be. My ex is like that. I'm gone.

I have just spent the better part of my day downloading ALL of this amazing mans songs, videos, lyrics and concert information.. He is out of this world talented. I say "Move over Garth Brooks (who has been credited with outselling the Beetles, Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson) there's a NEW country/Pop king in town and his name is **B*R*A*N*T*L*E*Y ** G*I*L*B*E*R*T**

Literally a completely different genre of music there killer... George, and Garth are on a totally different level. Brantley is great I agree, but not even remotely close to as good as Garth...

Where as a back in the summer...i walked up to him 3 times no one around once we just chatted, 2nd time he was on the phone but recognized me, 3rd time he knew exactly who i was....NOW its 40 bucks a ticket...back in the summer... 20...
