This song is a perfect example of why I love music so much; we can feel what he is feeling. We connect to the feelings that can't be put into words, the pain of the human experience. I played this song over and over, crying my heart out when the only love of my life left me. I was 44 and I knew I would never have it in me to try again. That breakup damn near caused the death of me-literally. I don't think I will ever heal. This song could be written for me-for many of us.

I think this song makes anyone realize what they have done wrong in life. Some people needed to find what was going wrong and realize what they need to get it back. I have personally lived this song, not all of it, But this is the first time I have heard this song, and It hit me so hard, it brought me to tears....I had a great love walk out 7 months ago, as I was fighting a pain pill addiction, Im clean and sober now, 7 months later.....we said horrible things.....and we made eachothers hearts hurt....If I could go back I would....But we lost it, we lost that promise......dont ever lose hope everyone

This song is one of the truest Ive ever heard. I have had 2 failed relationships now. First one was 4 years, High school sweet heart. We were perfect for each other but alot of childish mistakes ruined it. Been almost 2 years sense it ended on Vday of 2010. I still think about her everyday and love her even now. The 2nd just ended.
