Sweet bike Brant, dude, I have to say something. Every video I see some guys are putting on grips in weird and wonderful ways, literally all I do is fit the tip of the grip on the bars, and with the palm of my hand over the end of the grip I just tap it on. 2-3 taps usually does it. The trick is to tap over the hole at the end of the grip so that the air pocket lifts the grip, basically what the compressor does but without the hassle.
@Brant_Moore2 жыл бұрын
You must have gotten just the right grips or very lucky every time. haha Every time I do that I can only get it so far onto the bar before having to do something else.

If you’re going Odyssey, the F25 (slightly steeper angle than the R32) forks are amazing! Changing direction feels telepathic. I’m running front brake cable through gyro, down fork, zip tied to side as it goes back up to Ody Evo II brake, Potts mod style. Your Soundwave frame looks fresh! Looking forwards to a bike check in the future.

Old video to comment I know lol. Not 100% sure but aren’t you supposed to have a stealth pivotal seat with that post? I’ve never had one myself, just regular pivotal seats but that bike is sick bro. I love that toothpaste color. I used to work for Seattle Bike Supply in Reynoldsburg, Ohio and they were the first distributors to get Sunday frames and parts back in 2006 I think it was. We had the original wave frames in that color, also forks and bars I believe. So that color takes me back to those days. Later years like 2011 or something I think is when they started just shipping from their own warehouse. I could be wrong but SBS didn’t carry their stuff anymore which was sad bc I never got a chance to get one of their frames. So when the opportunity came up last year, probably around the time you made this video, I got me a Nightshift frame and dang do I love it! I almost got the Soundwave one but I got a little better deal on this so I pulled the trigger even though it’s the 21” TT and I wanted 20.75”. Still wicked awesome and wasn’t difficult to get used to.

How do you build a beautiful bike like that and not ride as soon as its done. I just dont get that as a fellow bmx rider.
@Brant_Moore3 жыл бұрын
We were riding in our main line at the time I finished the bike and there was absolutely no way I was gonna ride in a line at the trails with a new bike knowing I’d probably have to bail at some point. I also wanted the first trick on it to be an ice pick. Kinda just knew I’d have to wait so it was a little easier
