A single rotor does the job of 3 cylinders. 4 rotors = 12 cylinders. And it sounds just as incredible. Screw it if Power Pistons is cannonically powered by a V12, this edit makes me want to rename that car to Rotor Fury lmao.

@@Maxibon_25_ thats either a ferrari V12(yes there is one and its the enzo 6.0L) or a BMW V12. i would say more likely a ferrari V12(hot wheels at the time as far as i know of had the rights to make the diecast cars) so im sure its the enzo V12

You made Esmerelda looks even more cool in this scene, bravo! It’s no wonder why Power Pistons & her character are a fan favorite when it comes to the movie & HWY35 lore. Fun fact: Jeff Gomez said in a AMA that she was suppose to be more prominent in the story but got diminished in the final version due to time constraints and Mattel thinking that kids wouldn’t get a more complicated story. Boulderdash I say! If they ever do a true remaster of this movie with more characters involved and racing, you ought to be hired as sound design pronto!

I might sound weird for saying this, but watching these "remade audio" videos has honestly been making me emotional. I've imagined in my head for over a decade how the pure amount of power behind these cars would've been portrayed if they snagged better audio editors/engineers. With my music production background, even I contemplated whether or not I should give something like this a try. But after seeing these, you definitely got it covered. The reverberations in the cabin, the sounds of the characters literally putting the pedal to the metal, the engine audio syncing with the RPM gauge shots, it's all absolutely amazing to me. Rewatching these over and over again has honestly been a blessing, and I'm so glad these videos exist. I feel like a kid again. Thank you for bringing a dream of mine to life

Oh my god you're right, and the shots are so quick you don't even notice it too, like Esmeralda has fingerless gloves but for Vert shifting he doesn't, but its so fast you don't even notice it. Also don't forget putting the clips in reverse as well, to shift into 4th its just the same clip in reverse too

I assumed that the car computer inside of Power Pistons probably locked the speed when she hit 163 mph. But yeah this edit is much more cinematic and shows why drivers like Es were selected for the race.
