Brasstown Bald Descent at 48mph Max. Speed

Descending Brasstown Bald from the parking lot. People have died on this descent. Many others have gone over the side and lived to tell about it. Let go of the brakes for a just few seconds and you can easily hit 60mph. PLEASE DO NOT TRY THIS DESCENT.

When you let go of the brakes, it's like you got a jet boost and the speed increases very fast. But going down the mountain is very technical, with a turn coming up very quickly, so you really have to know the switchbacks for proper braking. Many unlucky souls have died on the mountain.

A little under 5K. Pretty short, but ripping fast, like a roller coaster that only goes down the steep parts.
