Worth to mention that the Bratislava City Card does not only offer discounts, but can also serve as a public transit card for all city lines (trams, trolleybuses, buses with double digit or triple digit numbers that begin with a 1) as well as some regional lines (other three digit numbers). Just make sure to get the Bratislava City Card with transport included, if you want to visit Devín, Pajštún, Danubiana or want to ride the local public transit within the city. The price difference in the Bratislava City Card with transit or without it is small compared to buying tickets. If you only stay within the city center and do not want to travel anywhere, get the card without transport.

There are free toilets in shopping centers, some restaurants are also not a problem if you ask, there are also free toilets in the presidential garden.

Some other tips: Danubiana, TV tower, radio building - inverted pyramid, Slovak National Gallery, Bratislava parks and forest parks, Danube boat transport, wineries in and around Bratislava,

You make Bratislava look and fell more butifull then when you live in it, Ive been in Bratislava my whole life and it is very underrated it has its down sides like the no public toilets and the government is horible but its a great city for a vecition but i personaly dont recoment moving in but you should visit it (this is my personal opinion others will say it difrently)

Yeah, I think sometimes when you live somewhere, you get used to it and don't always appreciate it the same as you would when on holiday there.

@@uptosummit_ fr but right now whit the government proplems and school boming its double And the school boming is not litreler its just a sputid thread that couse us to get evacueted a few miles away from the school and sometimes sent home. But im not complaning about getting sent home early but If we dont its just anoying

Čumil is pronounced Chumil - Ch being pronounced as Ch in Cheetah. Every time you see an accent mark above C, it's always pronounced as your Ch and Š is pronounced as your Sh. The Blue Church is technically still in the Old Town as the whole area is called Old Town but it's not located in the pedestrian only parts of the Old Town (if you know what I mean😁). Btw, if you go to Devín, you are still in Bratislava as it's a part of the city, was expecting you to visit Sanberg which is just one stop away from Devín and it's a palaeontological location. You can also hike from Devín to Devínska Kobyla and climb the lookout tower that is supposed to be shaped as Praying Mantis. Pajštún on the other hand is quite far from the city and frankly, I was not expecting you to go there, but it's actually refreshing to see that you made your research and went exploring beyond the capital. Not many people do that and they are actually missing out on the most amazing part about Slovakia, which is the nature, Castles and Chateaus everywhere. You did a really good job showing that Bratislava is not just about the little Old Town but it can also provide you with stunning views if you do your research beforehand.

Hey, thanks for a very nice vlog! Three random pieces of info: There are several public toilets, one of them for example at the back of the building on the right at 1:15; Devin is still a part of Bratislava, this includes the municipal public transport service, etc.; Next time you come by, make sure to explore the city`s wine making and beer brewing traditions, definitely worth it.

That is not "modern" look of the castle. That is real look from era of Maria Theresa when it waa rebuilt from fort to palace. It was comon to paint castles or houses in white as it was fashion. Europe houses /castles are different to the Uk.
