Yes, I make a list of things I need to do to stay well and them don’t do any of them. But if you don’t have the energy or focus to do any of them. Big deal so you make a list of things you need to do to stay well. But what if you are too depressed to do them. I’m so tired of trying

Marianne D. I have that issue too but as soon as I realize this I force myself to do something easy that I like to do that makes me happy! Even if it’s just watching a YT video or sitting out in the sunshine. Baby steps my friend! You can do this! 💜

if you're still having this problem (i hope not but worse case here's what my therapist says to me) make sure you're realistic with yourself first about how you're doing, on bad days your goals are all about showing up, write it down have a journal or a goal tracker. on bad days if all you did was brush your teeth, hey thats fine, you got out of bed good job. if your goal was to clean, pick up one thing and put it where it goes, just make sure your goals are realistic for how you're feeling. if you're too depressed to get up and your goal is to clean the whole house and cook 3 meals, of course it wont get done and you gotta work with yourself to accept that on bad days you need to give yourself some slack, focus on self care in your goals on bad days. I hope you're doing better now and I hope that maybe this advice helped :)
