On the nails thing: I think SimplyNailogical deserves some cred for that. She is openly a tomboy, doesn’t wear much makeup except for fun, yet absolutely lives for fun nails. She made it normal to love nails, the art of it, the vibe of it, etc. without it being associated with glamour.
