When I listen to an interview, I am listening to the persinalities behind the conversation cause, this way, the context is clear_What makes this interview deep is nothing but the two personalities and the experiences that have shaped what we come to see as behavior! The concept of cults around us makes so much sense and, believe you me, just this awareness is very empowering! Not getting drawn into engaging the external mob...Africa, you are the best! Well explained, the maverick, the very thing I have come to accept as well as embrace; maverick's, over the longterm, tend to be the true innovators in the world!

I love this woman. Thank you. I was wondering if you could suggest any books on low-self esteem which is the damage from being gas-lighted and coercered by narcissists in my family most of my life, I have no idea who I am , or what makes me happy and I'm known to self sabotage constantly. I am 70 years old and it's time I did something about this.

I don't find Africa Brooke profound at all. She's a consultant to who and/or which company exactly? And what qualifications does she have to speak of race apart from her life experience? If you want to learn more about the complexity of race from a professional, I highly recommend reading or listening to the (academic) Kenan Malik. Kenan offers a much more nuanced interpretation of identity politics, and bases his thesis on world history, not just life experience.

Kenan Malik is truly profound AND compassionate to the struggle of racial minorities in the working class

Mark, this and the last video/podcast you released are both about racial equality/egalitarianism. Being born a person of colour and experiencing covert and institutionalised racism (whether it is noticed cognitively or not) is about trauma and imbalances of power. As an cult survivor, I thought you would understand how acknowledging trauma and covert imbalances of power is a tool for healing. Why then are you so focused on racial equality when this in itself may not address deeper/covert racial trauma experienced by people of colour? Do you not believe covert and institutionalised racism exist?
