@@UncleHoChiMemes The old Arcadia (pointy head) is actually copyrighted by the animation studio, so Matsumoto (the writer/designer) had to create the skull-head Arcadia. The Yamato is copyrighted by the drug-addict writer, so when Matsumoto wanted to reboot the Yamato series, he created Yamato-Zero, which was later taken down by the drug-addict writer due to, you guessed it, copyright.

The Mahoroba as fully controlled AI ship concept was very wierd... to say the least... and overall this whole series was strange and from what I remember quickly faded in the memories of the fans (maybe because it was kind of chaotic and some events were difficult to understand)...

This vid also called "All forms of the Yamato troughout Japanese Anime history". You should swap the 2220 material with 2199 or 2202 thou, fits better as this is the ONLY one of them that got ressurected properly (as good as Captain Harlock CG was.... it lacks behind the OG)
