Damion Wright If you press and hold the hero in catalog they will say their critical/special quotes and the back will be yellow, strange healers has some special quotes that never triggered because their specials are only support oriented and they are "ofensive special quotes" BTW, I could not make this happen with the manaketes because of the transform thing.

Very well done overview! I'm not a ftp player myself, but I ended up going with Lyn for a number of reasons: colorless orbs are hell to pull from like you said, my only two colorless options are an incomplete Leon and a really bad Takumi I've had from the very beginning that's getting fed to a Boey for close counter, and finally, Lyn just looked more appealing to me. Great stats, great skills, she's a mounted bow Calvary unit (which we needed lol), and her legendary weapon is by far the best compared to the likes of Fujin Yumi and Innes' weapon. And so far, I am incredibly impressed with her; she's already lvl 40. Now it's just the matter of getting her skills.

awesome video as always and great work however i dont know if someone already posted this but its about ike you can look for it on reddit for more info . now ofensive specials may look good on him, like ather or luna, but i guees as we all know he really shines on the enemy phase, due to his high def and a skill phisical damage is almos covered fully his only weakness being magic, so if you run a defensive skill like aegis and use QP or infantry pulse or shield pulse you can start with it charged,,, meaning the first atakc will be reduced by 50% (more if using shield pulse) know due to ike low speed (better when havingg - spd) he will ussually get doubled and due to urvan aegis is now a 2 turn cd so the reduced second hit will charge aegis back again. now i not sure if running shield pulse is a great option due to the antimeta beorc's blessing, but really that aegis thing really blocsks distant damage when using those combinations a +hp/res -spd ike is totally unkilable he can tank anything he may not kill everithing like lyn but he surely cant die, i heard someone say that if he dosent have DC ranged damage is reduced by urvan . i dont know the deep of the testing but it sure looks awesome

also about the free hero i agree on what you say of lyn as a game changer however if you already have a good archer (lets say +atk) bride cordelia, you may consider choosing ike as well (i know i look like an ike fanboy but i just think not much people more the starters consider this), now some hard maps like ghb and chain challenges ussually require you to aproach first (they wont move until someone enters the danger zone) now i think lots of people (mostly new ones) missed xander and zephiel and this ussually means a lot of units gangin up on the one you put to tank so if you are good one the ofensive but dont have heros for those jobs ike will surely help you... however i do agre if you dont have a good archer or if you want her pick her. ike is the one with most posibilities of appearing due to green having less heroes.. and colorles hell is something to be avoided i pulled hard for lyn and cordelia in bride banner and couldnt get anyone just healers and jakobs,,, do not defy colorles hell (now i pulled lyn in my first pull but it was a gods blessing after so much hell i been into) just more info so people dont regreet tehir free hero choice

I don't mean to criticize, but I'd like to point out for clarification's sake that Urvan's 80% damage reduction DOES work on follow-up attacks. Any time that Ike takes more than one hit in a row within the same battle, he will take less damage from the second attack (or more in case of brave weapons). Meaning that Ike can attack in Player Phase, take a double hit in retaliation, and reduce the damage of the second hit, or be hit twice by a regular mage and take less damage. This discourages Distant Counter, since counterattacking a double hit from an enemy ranged unit will mean Ike will not reduce any damage. Also his Speed bane is 24, not 25. Alright, clarification aside, thank you for the video. It was really good and you definitely make a good point on what are the right choices for these units.

Hey brother, just wanted to correct something you said on the video in regards to Brave Ike's Urvan weapon, since i didn't see anyone else address it here. You said consecutive attacks from quick riposte, etc, are not counted as "consecutive" therefore don't receive the 80% damage reduction and only consecutive attacks from brave weapons count towards that effect. This is false. I know this because i baited Brave Ike during the Paralogue missions with my Eldigan, which happens to have quick riposte 2, and on the follow up attack the damage i did to Ike was reduced by a HUGE portion (probably 80%) Just wanted to clarify that for everyone: Ike's legendary Axe reduces the damage from ANY consecutive attack, not just consecutive attacks from brave tomes, bows, axes, swords or lances. So basically, Ike is even better than we thought lol

From playing the paralogue for these units Ike's axe works with the second hit from Quick Riposte too...took AGES to kill him with Xander...but to me that means it works with ANY follow-up attack as long as it they immediately follow each other, it doesn't have to be Brave weapons

Her default kit is godlike, you don't need to change it but there's some people that'll give her the classic brave bow + LnD + Desperation build. It's your choice tho.

I'm personally running L&D3 on Lyn, as I will be using her primarily on horse emblem, and with cavalry buffs, this negates the res drop and adds 1. But it's all up to you if you want to run Swift Sparrow, but I don't really like -Blow skills on anything that isn't running a Brave weapon.

I was saving up my orbs after giving up on the Norhian Summer event, with 85 orbs I was ready for this event. I went with Lyn as my freebie, mostly because I have the other two verities. Then I stated on the other three, after five full summons I finally drew a five star Sonya and Roy in the same turn. Shorty after that I got Ike. All I need is Lucina now.

Phoenix, you have a slight inaccuracy here regarding Urvan's damage reduction. It does decrease the damage received from the second hit of QR. I have not yet tested it when Ike receives a natural double with a counter in between, but it does appear that any two or more attacks that occur immediately after each other do get reduced.

What I really like about Roy is that if he doubles and the opponent is able to counter once, his Galeforce will be charged up and will trigger immediately. He's definitely one of the best sword units in the game. I'd say he might be the second best just below Ryoma.

I can confirm avoiding the colorless hell is a good thing. I picked Lyn but still summoned colorless units(because I only had 1 per sessions for 3 sessions in a row) and ended up with the dreaded 5* Jakob....
