Don't forget the fact that the savage is denied his ability to even mourn the rejection of nature down by the river, I believe (its been years since i've read it), because he has been swarmed by cameras and slick media men. An important parallel, i think. You cannot take a drunken piss on the side of a building anymore without a camera spoiling whatever spontaneous charm there may be, and immediately reduced to a living artifact. I sympathize deeply with the savage. Another good Huxley one is Ape and Essence. I really like his pathetic characters and dialogue. Anyway, Brave New World. A wonderful book that I need to revisit!

I'd say Brave New World is also better than Fahrenheit 451.

@@reamce In my opinion the book's cover is an Art Deco design... Popular at the time the book was first published.
