It seems to me that if you remove chemical flavor enhancers from American food, then Americans will say that this is not a delicious food. And if you remove all sugar from food and drinks, then the great depression will begin. Food has its own natural taste, if you can't feel it, then you consume a lot of flavor enhancers

Seems like all you need is a tomato with salt and you’re in heaven 😆 Ever been to a restaurant? Food is seasoned that’s why it’s delicious. If people had your mentality, they’d eat a boiled potato and say it’s magnificent. Imagine a food channel eating and describing an apple, a potato, a strawberry 🙃😆🤦🏼♂️ very small minded. If you get out of your village and travel, you’ll see people all over the world enjoying foods rich in flavor and seasoning

@@Bravebelly Everything is right. good food needs only salt and pepper. Crappy food needs to be filled with something. you can compare food to a movie. sometimes you can watch an arthouse, but still people watch netflix more often. It's the same with food. sometimes you need to have dinner at a restaurant. but usually people eat simpler dishes
@Bravebelly4 ай бұрын
@@parazitdog2786 why use salt and pepper if the food is so good? I think that’s cheating..if you’re trying to make that point. If it’s so good, it doesn’t need salt or pepper 😛

It's actually pretty simple. It's all about farming and preferences. Americans like things big. The issue with that is, in oversimplified terms, that, let's say, a carrot has the same amount of taste, no matter its size. To a European, an Ameican carrot tastes like car...dboard that maybe sat next to a carrot for five minutes. If they use the same recipe using the same amount of produce from the US and from Europe... one of them IS going to need flavor enhancers to reach the same flavor. As for drinks, you have the industrial farming of corn to blame. They had vast overproduction of corn and didnt know what to do with it, so they lobbied and cheated and bribed their way into selling people on high fructose corn syrup. It is in everything. From cola to bread. And a lot of it. They have to get rid of the corn somehow or let it go bad in the silos. I once did an experiment as I was leaving my friend in the States. I wrote down what I ate, how much I exercised, etc. for my last week there. That week, I gained four kilo. I then recreated the same menu and same exercise regimen back in Poland with the only difference being the source of ingredients in my food. I lost six, my skin improved, my bowels stopped acting up... Sadly, to get European quality food in the US, you'd have to overpay and be really picky. So... Yeah. Don't be aggressive towards the Americans and their food, parazit. They do live in a totally different world, when it comes to food. Many additives and practices their FDA approves are completely banned in Europe. Like bleach baths for their chickens(to get rid of huge levels of bacteria from how they raise them).

@@LongandWeirdName this is all true. But seasoning and flavor is another topic. When I take foreigners (not only Americans) to a Polish restaurant…no one comes back 🤷🏼♂️

P.S. uwielbiam fasolkę po bretońsku ;) Mixing english and polish language sounds very funny, in positive way of course, it's nice that You can read and speak in polish, it makes all the content much more interesting ;)

One of the Croatian rations has 400g can of beans with sausages. I think it is almost the same thing, except for the tomatoes. It also contains luncheon meat just like the Polish ration, but I believe it is turkey meat, not pork like in the Polish ration. The word vepr/vepar means wild boar in South Slavic languages and pig in East Slavic and West Slavic languages so your luncheon meat was pork.

Wieprzowe --> pork / wolowe --> beef Just in case you forgot. And malinowy (from maliny) means raspberry. Congrats for your knowledge of Polish. I can understand a little bit of your situation, I had to emigrate to Italy when I was 7 yo but I never forgot my language. That was a little bit difficult because here we don't have Polish stores or communities. I've been in NY and I've seen that that is possible to live there without learning english, staying just with other Polish people. Here in Italy I've become a kind of a strange fusion of two cultures but I'm proud that I can speak and write in both languages correctly. I have no accent but that's just a lot of work and care.

Would be an awesome MRE when your out hunting just over the day and need a light weight and filling meal. To bad the MRE's are so damn expensive here in the west, can easily get a really good steak and condiments for the same price...
