This is a comment for past videos. The green plastic thing in Russian MRE (similar to an arrow) is a can opener. It is used to make a hole in the lid when warming up food. Usually, if there is no pot (which is rare), MRE dishes are pierced and heated over a fire, and then opened with this thing

Wow, Russian ration portions are huge. That would last me atleast 2 to 3 days stretching it. Definitely fueled pack food. Those calories go a long way when you're out in the field for days at a time. Also, the reason why it would be a 24hr meal is bc soldiers dont eat to get full we eat to only stop hunger & replenish energy. 😊
