Bravely Second: Great Grinding Build (JP, EXP, and PG)

It takes 5 seconds for the food buff to activate for the first level of your lunch time bonus. After that, it increases around 1 second for every level thereafter. When you max out the buff, it takes approximately 8 seconds for the buff to fully activate. I would use it around the 9 second mark to give you a buffer. That will still give you the maximum amount of return per snack time.

Mmm, not sure about that. I have all the upgrades maxed out and it took 5 seconds + the extra sixth that you should activate on.

I used to always activate at six second, and it worked for me. Until I bought the third level of the food buff. The buff started activating after the clock rolled over. I activate between 8 and 9 seconds and the buff goes off as the timer hits 1. This still gives me four full trays and gives me plenty of time to reactivate any buffs that may have worn off

Ahh, okay. So it still worked out in the end, that's good. I think I might know why it was different, did you have everyone's individual bonuses maxed out and active BEFORE going into snack time? That's what I did, so there may be a difference in time there

Awakening and Obliterate, the two most important for the build, come from the Yokai class in Chapter 6 at Vampire Castle. JP Up and Late Bloomer (the second of which I now realize isn't required) come from the Freelancer

Quick question about Late Bloomer. Say I got a job or two to lvl 10 on a character before I got the ability, would I have lost that 2% stat increase or do the buffs only apply when Late Bloomer is equipped? Thanks in advance :)

Sleepy Blu You have the same thought process as I did :) As it seems, Late Bloomer gives bonus stats for every job you've gotten to lvl 10, and includes ones you've already gotten to 10. So you didn't lose it, but Late Bloomer must be equipped to get the bonuses

Another question, do I lose points for jobs I've mastered before unlocking late bloomer?

Otmane Arkoub no, I don't believe so. I believe it counts all lvl 10 jobs as its only active when you have it equipped

Hey, does late bloomer keep the stat boost with every job maxed even if you switch jobs and take it pour of support abilities?

Otmane Arkoub that's what I had thought when making this video, but no. The stats are only raised when Late Bloomer is in your list of abilities :)

If you have Late Bloomer equipped as an ability at all, it will count. So you could have a Kaiser with Guardian commands with Late Bloomer equipped if you wanted and still get the bonus, it doesn't necessarily need to be a Freelancer

I'm sorry, why do you need late bloomer? Doesn't late bloomer work regardless if it was equipped when you reach the top level? Not to mention your stats don't matter with obliterate right?

If you're level 99, it can still increase your stats. We all have those jobs we never bother filling out either, so there's plenty of space to keep boosting the stats. I had it just to get them higher for when I'm actually playing the game

I'm not sure if it applies just because you're 99, I think it still needs to be equipped. Either way, the slots are empty, so better off using them for something.

While this does work, having 4 merchants is not necessary, since more money doesn't stack ;) Max gold I got from the chompette is 27009 PG (team of 4) with Golden Egg equiped.

It may have been either EXP, or if you get the four Chompettes + the "More enemies lurk nearby" 1.5x bonus
