Elder Improves to 2-4 with an ERA of 5.67! And to think... Many Braves Fans wanted him Gone at the Deadline... Perhaps he can keep this going? + Bullpen did a Great Job of Preventing any Further Damage from the Brew Crew! Minter, Jimenez, and Iglesias Combined to FINISH the Final 2 2/3 Innings, allowing just 1 Hit, Walking 1 and Striking Out 2. Not a Save Situation for Iglesias, but he Pitched a PERFECT 9TH! ROTATION TOTAL: 9 Innings, 1 Run, 6 Hits, 2 Walks, 9 Strike Outs, NO Home Runs Allowed! 4-12 with Runners In Scoring Position... 11 Men Left on Base... But 5 Runs was MORE THAN ENOUGH Tonight! + AUSTIN 3:16 WITH HITS APLENTY TONIGHT! 4-5 with FOUR Singles and an RBI! Riley Steps Up to a .259 Average with an OPS of .778! + THE BIG BEAR CONTINUING TO FIND WAYS TO CONTRIBUTE! 1-5 with an RBI Single of his own in the 3rd! Ozuna Stands in with a .305 Average and .973 OPS! + EDDIE CONTINUES TO GRIND! 1-4 with a 2-RUN SINGLE To Cap the 3rd! Rosario holds onto a .182 Average with an OPS of .553! + J.K. WITH A DAY OF HIS OWN! 2-3 with Two Walks, a Double, and an OPPOSITE-FIELD SOLO SUPER MISSILE THAT JUUUSSSSSTTT CLEARED THE WALL IN LEFT! Kelenic holds firm with a .239 Average, .704 OPS, and 12 Home Runs on the Season! + OTHER NOTABLES: Sean Murphy and Orlando Arcia had 2-5 Nights, While Laureano and Alvarez Jr. had 1-4 Nights. Despite going 0-3, Matt Olson Walked Twice, which means EVERY Braves Starter Reached Base Tonight! + ANOTHER NEEDED VICTORY FOR THE BRAVOS! Elder was GREAT, The Bullpen: EXCELLENT, The Defense: SOLID, and the Offense: SUFFICENT. Just need to continue winning like this! + The Mets Continue to Win, while the Phillies continue to Lose. This puts the Braves at 7 1/2 Back of Philadelphia, while the Mets remain on our Trumpets at 1/2 Game Ahead. TOMORROW: THE FINAL ROUND of this 3-Game Showdown will take place Under the Roof of American Family Field. Freddy Peralta will get the call for the Brew Crew, Who's looking to bounce back from a Rough Outing against the Fish, in which he allowed 5 Runs (3 Earned) on 6 Hits, Walking 5 and Striking Out 4 in just 5 1/3 Innings of work. Meanwhile, CHRIS SALE will take up Battle Stations for the Braves, Who's coming off an Unfortunate No Decision against the Mets, in which he allowed 2 Runs on Just 2 Hits, Walking 1 and Striking Out 9 in 7 1/3 Excellent Innings! Can SALE and the Braves CLAIM the Series in Milwaukee and secure a Successful Road Trip? Or will Peralta and the Brew Crew Defend their Concoctions and Send the Tomahawk Chop Home in a Perilous Endeavor? We Will Find Out at 2:10 P.M. EDT / 1:10 P.M. CDT on Bally Sports Wisconsin (Brewers) and Bally Sports South (Braves)! SoundFX09, Signing Out!

@@pjbuma13 I understand but having experience playing this sport when you move a guy into a more important role 9 times out of 10 you'll see the average move up.
@pjbuma132 ай бұрын
@@Pologuy864 I highly disagree. You don’t put someone who is struggling in the leadoff spot to get them out of their slump. Rosario is not the right guy for lead off for so many reasons. His current slash line is .182/.221/.332/.553. He is a career sub .300 OBP and barely a career .750 OPS. His strikeout to walk ratio is nearly 4/1 and averages only 33 walks per 162 games and has stolen a base a total of 64 times in 9 plus seasons. He is average speed and isn’t a threat to steal and doesn’t get on base at a high clip and doesn’t have much power. That’s just at a career average and you take into account he has severely underperformed this year. As much as Kelenic has struggled as of late I’d rather have him in the leadoff spot. But once Solar is in the lineup he will be the leadoff. Which makes way more sense than Rosario.
