This speaks to just how well run this Dodger organization is and how much depth they have. Most of the emphasis has been on the money spent to get the players they wanted however the real story is and has been their farm system. When you loose individuals like Walker Buehler and Clayton Kershaw and are able to replace them with Miller and then loose him it shows how valuable the GM and others are in the front office. The Dodgers have always had a great farm system!!

Their .275 team batting average is a whopping 15 points higher than the next best. The Dodgers also lead the majors in runs, hits, OBP and slugging pct. When they're firing on all cylinders, no one can touch them.

Braves Have had the most difficult starting month schedule out of any team in MLB with 3 LCS teams (Sweeping 2), This with their main Ace Strider going down, Starting Catcher Down from first game and still down, Starting 2B Ozzie went down for 3 weeks. Best Relief pitcher down, Now Second best relief pitcher down. Top 3 hitters in lineup haven't even got going. All this And Braves are just now in a short slump while playing 2nd best team the billion dollar Dodgers, at LA. oh and the Braves entire 9 man lineup cost less then just Ohtani and Yama alone. It's crazy how the Braves and Dodgers have two of the best offenses in the league, but do things totally different. The Dodgers are #1 in baseball in walks, but the Braves are #23. The Braves have a total of 3 walks through the first 2 games in this series, while the Dodgers have 10. One would think with the Braves being so aggressive that they strike out alot, but they actually make alot of contact. The Dodgers actually strikeout more, but most of that came during their struggles. Since they came together and had a team meeting about making more contact, the Dodgers strikeout % is the lowest in baseball over the last 2 weeks. Both great offenses, but they do things differently, I wonder which style will prevail during the postseason. Will be a great case study this offseason.

As typical, they're pretty quiet right now, and the others that aren't are talking about how they're just "slumping." - Well, that's baseball, which is why you should be slow to anoint a team in April, just as you should in May. You would think that both Dodgers' & Braves' fans would know that better than anyone, with both being upset in the NLDS two years in a row.

Well this was a pretty bad loss, just nothing went right. Really wish braves took friday’s game because after this LA has won the series. Elder was just not good at all, and the pitching staff just struggled the entire night. Offense also continues to be in a slump, a lot of guys especially our top guys have got to step up, it’s still only may so not going to worry too much but we got to get going again. Hope braves can at least avoid the sweep, Fried on the mound tomorrow. #ForTheA
