I love the simplicity of the themes and the fantastic animation. I think this was the last series by Filmation. There is no cartoon today that is as cool as Bravestar was. The secret to their enduring success was a recipte of great animation and storytelling. I know the market has moved on...but these will always be entertaining and enjoyable no matter what.

Before there was a brave space marshal, there was a villain. When coming up with villains for the Filmation Ghostbusters series, one of them was a western villain called "Tex Hex", someone decided to pull the character from that show, and do a western type cartoon. The show would need a hero, and from there "Bravestarr" was developed.
