The Brave Wilderness hosts and crew are professionally trained but receive assistance from animal experts and safety personnel when in potentially life-threatening situations. Permissions were obtained by the crew to film in all locations associated with this series. No animals were injured, killed, or removed from their natural habitat in the filming of this program and instances where animals are brought to the scene are clearly acknowledged in the video. Professional advice should always be sought before entering any dangerous environment, or before encountering any species of animal. Every precaution is taken to handle animals with care and in the least stressful way possible; expert opinions are often solicited when handling animals that may potentially inflict harm to any cast and crew.

After you peel off the 'snake skin', you still have to peel the super thin inner skin/membrane attached on the fruit before you eat it. That's why it became starchy and bitter here. The texture is simply like pears or apples, maybe a little firmer.

I've tried a few in Indonesia, they are pretty fun to eat (when they are selling them on the streets the bottom prickly bits are already shaved off) kind of like eating peanuts once you start you keep going. Not really the tastiest fruit still enjoyable. Peeling them is also satisfying.

I remember my mother ate this fruit once! it is called salak by locals ( Am originated from Indonesia ). We were enjoying it so much, it was considered as a delicacy, because back then we weren't that wealthy but happy. It was the best delicacy i ever had as a child, taste sweet with a hint of sour taste.

Will you go to Heaven when you die? Here’s a quick test: Have you ever lied, stolen, or used God’s name in vain? Jesus said, “Whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” If you have done these things, God sees you as a lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart, and the Bible warns that one day God will punish you in a terrible place called Hell. But God is not willing that any should perish. Sinners broke God’s Law and Jesus paid their fine. This means that God can legally dismiss their case: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Then Jesus rose from the dead, defeating death. Today, repent [turn away from your sins and don’t practice them] trust Jesus, and God will give you eternal life as a free gift. Then read the Bible daily and obey it. God will never fail you.
