Hey B, to join the wars - Go to Mariks front line planets and either defend or attack planets based on Mariks % of ownership. For each battle you play and win, the % will change in Mariks favour... You will see your TERRORBIRD'S TALONS company as well as other allies/enemies in the area on the main map which will help your tactics... Discord and other Commanders will help you with the rest🍻

If you dropped the 3 brightblooms for 3 ER M Lasers you could save 9 heat. But you drop to 480m.

Toast had internal leg damage (probably from armor piercing weapons) and failed the piloting check for sprinting on a damaged leg.

The internal Leg damage came from the MASC crit. You hear the crit small Explosion sound shortly before bara remembers that he had it on. The crit turned it Off.

I have a Crossbow A in my current play through. It's ok, but not great. It's got a huge standard engine so not a lot of free tonnage.

Its not an omni torso though, so you could rip that engine core out or drop a type upgrade in if you wanted? Does mean you have to invest more $$ in it to make it useful rather than being useful right off the salvage boat.

@@jiiaga5017 Full omni torso. You can't change the engine, core, gyro or the standard structure. (You can install armor upgrades though)

@@brianhechinger8715 Hrm, do the different variants of the crossbow must have different levels of "Omni" in them then? I've got a crossbow in my loadout right now that I've dropped an XL Clan engine into so it can mount a snubnose Heavy gauss. Before that it was running Masc and 4 ultralight rotaries and a clan ppc :P

Is this the playthrough with a VTOL with a subpar missile weapon in it (instead of a streak MRM30). Would that LMR30(p) he a better option then the LRM20? Misfire chance is always a concern though.

I'd suggest looking into putting LAM Turbines into your Munin. I run a 55 ton Waneta with a 80% Booster and 7 Turbines. With all that I routinely end up with 15 evasion. Has a Defensive ++ Gyro and the pilot has the Escapist ability. Makes it pretty easy to Sprint around quick. I also took the ability to remove bars of stability by reserving, which is needed in case some shot actually gets through.

Yeah, late game pilots still hit LAMS reliably with big weapons if you don't have at least 12 pips.

Crossbows are kinda nice midgame because they have omnipod arms but modifiable torso components. So whatever you have, they can fit.
