I'm confused. I am considering applying for the next season of BD, but the application clearly states that applicants need significant experience in their chosen role. How is it then that most of this crew are relative newbees? Secondly, Bravo boasts that this is a diverse crew. I don't see anyone who's not in a senior position over about 30, and most are significantly younger. I can already tell that some crew are without doubt batshit crazy, so should make for yet another awesome season of maritime fun and frolicks. Can't wait.

It's all for views... quite litterally the t.v show hires the crew, not the actuall owners of the boat. Also, with any job (I'm sure you can guess) you do actually need experience. They just pick and choose. It's all a plot line.
